Tomorrow's my BIRTHDAY!
I get so busy I don't get to come blog as often as I like. Lost another couple of pounds, down 8 total. Last week Ian turned the big 3-0. He had a good day. Hopefully he will get a job a T-Mobile. He's been trying and trying but no luck and, man, we are just drowning. Mortgage is late, credit cards overdue. I don't think I pay anything on time anymore. But we do with what we can. Someone told me "If God brings you to it, he'll bring you through it". I'm not too religious but I like the feel of that. So, while some of the bills are being paid late or not at all I know it's just a matter of time before we are back on our feet.
On the plus side tomorrow is my BIRTHDAY! YAY! I am so superficial. My birthday is my favorite day of the year. I just love being the center of attention. LOL And at least this year, my birthday money is coming into good use because I need gas in my car! My friends and I are going to Bingo @ the casino. I'll get to play for free since it's my birthday and hopefully I will win come $$. In the meantime, I'm keeping track of all my birthday money and taking it out of Ian's paycheck and buy me a Zune HD; after we get all caught up on our bills of course.

Happy Patriot Day
Hello all. Today is the anniversary of 9/11. Who doesn't remember exactly where they were and what they were doing? I was pregnant with Makenna and getting ready for work. It was a scary time, but a heroic time. I just want to say:

I'm a few days late in my post. I weighed but it was later and later in the day. My friend and I are tracking our weight on www.weightlosswars.com. It's ok. But we can see each others progress and challenge each other or join other challenges. My initial weight in was 244.4 (and it was also at 9 at night). I don't think I've lost any weight but I heard on the radio that most women don't in the first couple weeks. So I have steered clear of the scale. I've kept track of my daily calories at http://caloriecount.about.com/. I really like this website for tracking everything I eat and the calories I burn doing activities. The goal this week is to get more active. Not like I haven't been doing anything. Yesterday was our first games. Awesome! We lost both times but I had a BLAST. It's all for fun. I biffed it trying to catch a foul ball. (I'm the catcher.)

Happy Labor Day!
Gonna weigh in tomorrow morning. I'm sure I've lost a couple pounds. Fingers crossed. Went on a nice hike today, somewhere between 2-3 miles. I was going to go geocaching but my GPS isn't working. UGH! But it was nice. We left Jedi with his Grandma and Ian, I, and the other three went on a trail somewhere off Academy. Tough for me, I'm so outta shape. That will change. I was proud of myself. All in all a pretty good 3 day weekend. Ordered my book for school. Next on my list, I want to learn how to use this Tarot deck Ian got me for Christmas like 6 years ago. I haven't done anything but take the plastic off. Because I don't have enough on my plate. LOL First softball game this week! And Ian is coming, with the kids and his friend. More to come tomorrow after I weigh in!

Lazy Day
Happy 3-day weekend!
Started the 'lifestyle change' yesterday. I did pretty good. I am trying to stick to about 2000 calories a day. Yesterday I think I did around 1800 calories and today I've done a little over 1700. And today I didn't do ANYTHING. I literally laid around in bed all day. Got online, paid for a book, checked my Facebook, email, etc. I love lazy days. I didn't feel too bad when Jeremy Jolola tweeted in the afternoon that he was still in his PJs and I was too.
Yesterday and today have not been as hard as I thought they would be, but I think in part that I am really ready for a change. I have that 'baby' pouch and I want to get rid of it soooo bad. And I've had four kids so you can imagine what it looks like. One of my best friends is a DJ at a bar and she needs to lose some weight too so we are going to support each other. She was telling about this website (something like weight loss wars or something like that), where we would be able to sign up and keep track of each others progress. And either join a group or start our own and then we can challenge each other and stuff. It sounded pretty cool. I need to get the website address from her and check it out.
I've set a couple of 'mini' goals.
1. Lose 5 lbs by my birthday. (September 23rd)
2. Lose 20 pounds by Christmas.
3. Be down to 200 by Valentine's Day.
Ok, there it is. Now you can hold me accountable when I fall off the wagon!
Well, off to watch kids. We are babysitting my niece and nephews. I've known my friend Heather for, like, 17 years and our daughters are 4 months apart and it is SCARY how much they are like us. And I know what we were like in high school and I'm scared.

Such a Day...
Holy cow. I just typed this whole blog for today and I guess I didn't save it right and now I have to retype it. So here is the Cliff Notes version:
- Lorenzo & Makenna are both grounded. Makenna for acting like her mother @ school, Lorenzo for being a clepto.
- Healthy lifestyle starts tomorrow. Tidits and advise appreciated.
- Ian says I can't take about him in my blog, but I am ignoring him.
- 20 days until my birthday!

Trying New Things
Blogging seems to be very popular now days, so, naturally. I need to jump on the bandwagon! My name is Sabrina, as I have gotten older I like to be called Sabrina Jane. I also go by Chiken. I work full time, I attend CNM and UNM part time, married, mother of 4, Tupperware consultant, softball player, PTA member, Net Impact member and...I feel like I am missing something. Oh well.
I am entering a new stage in my life. My husband and I have just recently reconciled after being separated for the past 2 months. It was the longest 2 months of my life! I am learning so much more about myself and how to be in a relationship. In addition, I am trying to be more active and (drum roll), I am going to embark on weight loss.
I am a very honest person and here will be no different. So, fair warning, there might be times of TMI. :o) I tried Weight Watchers forever and just never had it in me. As I approach my 29th birthday, it's time. Time to take charge and make a change. So - here it goes.
I am currently 240 lbs. I hate exercising and I am addicted to food. I am 5' 7" and would like to be somewhere around 175. I will blog about my trials and accomplishments and appreciate and advise, words of wisdom and encouragement.
So, welcome to my world.
